How to easily remove and replace inserts for washing your Puff™

Inserts and Foam are not washable. Please spray a solution of half white vinegar and half water on the soiled area and air dry.

How is the Roxy Ortho Puff® different from the original Faux Fur Shag Puff™?

The Roxy Ortho Puff® is the Shag Puff's successor — the same snuggle-in nest silhouette and Companion-Pedic® orthopedic base, crafted in our newest plush faux fur in Winter and Beach Sand, with every size available and ready to ship. The original Shag Puff, in its current fabrics, is being retired and remains available only while stock lasts.

What size Roxy Ortho Puff® should I choose?

Fit by the inner resting area, not weight alone: Small has a 10" inner diameter (up to ~20 lbs), Medium 12" (up to ~40 lbs), Large 16" (up to ~60 lbs), and X-Large 20" (60 lbs and over). Weight ranges are estimates — we suggest mapping the inner dimensions on the floor around your pup, and going one size up when in doubt.

Is the Roxy Ortho Puff® good for dogs who burrow or curl up?

Yes — it is designed for companions who instinctively burrow, curl, and snuggle. The tall overstuffed bolsters wrap fully around, giving dogs a sense of enclosure and a place to rest their head.

Is the Roxy Ortho Puff® good for senior dogs?

Yes — the Companion-Pedic® memory foam base contours to the body and helps relieve pressure points, which is especially beneficial for aging or aching joints. The nest walls also give seniors a supported place to lean.

Can you wash the Roxy Ortho Puff®?

The faux fur cover unzips for a cold-water machine wash and line drying — no heat, bleach, or bleach alternatives. The inserts and foam are not washable; spot clean with a half white vinegar, half water solution and air dry.

What colors and sizes does the Roxy Ortho Puff® come in?

Two colors — Winter and Beach Sand — in four sizes from Small to X-Large, all ready to ship. (There is no X-Small; for the smallest companions, the Small's 10" inner resting area still suits most dogs and cats up to about 20 lbs.)
