Our founders created it more than two decades ago and have refined it ever since, from the original Katie Puff® Ortho to the Ruby, Pearl, Ali Jewel®, Raine, and Roxy Ortho Puff®. Each one is handcrafted by our artisans in California.
WHAT IS THE PUFF®?
The Bed That Built the House
The Puff® is a round luxury dog bed with high bolsters on every side and a deep, generously overstuffed center cushion. That height is the point: where our Donut styles keep a lower rim for easy step-in entry, the Puff® rises around your companion so they can burrow, lean, and rest their head on a wall of softness. It was one of the first designs Animals Matter ever made, and it grew into a family of ten: the Katie Puff® Ortho and Katie Ortho Puff® Encore™, the Ruby, Pearl, Ali Jewel®, Raine, and Roxy Ortho Puff® beds, the Faux Fur Shag Puff™ and Animal Print Ortho Puff®, and the plush Pearl Companion Puff®. The Ortho versions add Companion-Pedic® memory foam beneath the softness.

Every Puff® is generously overstuffed with LUXURA-FILL®, our proprietary high-memory fiber cushioning, in both the bolsters and the resting cushion. It shapes around your companion, recovers its loft day after day, and is hypoallergenic and CA Prop 65 compliant. The orthopedic versions add Companion-Pedic® memory foam, CertiPUR-US certified and made in California, for structured joint support beneath the softness. Covers are furniture-grade upholstery, made to be lived with, and they unzip for cold-water machine washing and line drying. Each piece is handcrafted by our artisans in California.

A note on arrival: beds are generously filled and travel folded in a box. Allow a few inches on each side until the bed and bolsters fully expand with use. Weight ranges are estimates; every companion is unique.
