1. What’s the difference between the Animals Matter Companion car seat, the L.A. Dog Company Rider car seat, and the Animals Matter Too car seat?
Here’s a breakdown of the differences between these three popular products:
The Animals Matter Companion car seat features a scoop front with padded micro fiber fabric, called Rhino Suede, and extremely heavy duty, upholstery-grade foam. This is our top-of-the-line car seat – it will last for years and years! It comes in camel, charcoal, and pink.
The L.A. Dog Company Rider car seat has a straight front, with slightly less dense foam, and it’s covered in a quilted micro velvet fabric that’s available in either khaki or graphite colour.
The Animals Matter Too car seat also has a straight front, with less dense foam and a micro-suede fabric finished with white piping. You can choose either camel colour with white piping or black with white piping—whichever suits your furry friend’s preference!
All three of these car seats come with one attachment (additional attachments are sold separately), and have removable covers that can be machine washed in cold water. You can line dry the cover or tumble dry it on low – just don’t use heat!
2. Are the bed inserts and foam washable?
Just like a pillow made for humans, our foam and inserts won’t stand up to washing. Fortunately, they can be deodorized and sanitized by spraying with an all-natural solution of half vinegar, half water.
3. Where are your products made?
All our products are handcrafted right here in the USA.
4. Do you use real fur in any of your products?
We’re here to help animals live their most comfortable lives—we’re not in favour of anything that brings them harm. As a result, our shop is proudly vegan: all our materials are cruelty-free, eco-friendly, and made without any animal products. The fur you see on many of our items is a synthetic, hypoallergenic faux fur fabric.
5. How do I set up a wholesale account?
Interested in wholesale orders? Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, phone number, the name of your store and its address, and your reseller license. You’ll need to meet a few requirements to be approved for a wholesale account.
1. How do you ship?
We use FedEx or USPS to get our products to your door, and each package requires an indirect signature (we’d be devastated if your purchase got lost along the way). Be careful when ordering – incorrect or undeliverable addresses and refused shipments that are returned to sender will be charged shipping fees which can be ruff.
2. When will my order ship?
Once you place your order, we promise to process all items that are in stock within 1 to 2 business days. Shopping on Saturday or Sunday? Any order submitted over the weekend will be processed Monday (or if Monday’s a holiday, the next business day).
Our website is at your service 24/7, but if you place your order after 12pm PST, please give us one extra business day to process and ship your purchase. This slight delay also applies to any orders shipping with USPS.
3. Do you offer international shipping?
Absolutely! We’re happy to send our pawsome products to pets around the world. However, we can’t promise that our time or cost estimates will be perfect: our quotes for shipping outside the US and Puerto Rico don’t include applicable duty, value added taxes (VAT), or import consumption taxes. You’ll be responsible for paying the duty and VAT when your package is delivered, and we can’t predict what these fees will be.
1. Do you accept returns?
Not happy with your purchase? Not a problem. You can return unused items (as long as the tags are attached and it’s in the same condition as it was when you received it) within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.
2. How do I return an item?
You’ll need to request a return authorization number here, or click on the Returns tab on our homepage and follow the instructions. Once you receive your return authorization number, write it anywhere on the package slip or on the box before attaching your prepaid shipping label (sent to your email) and sending the package back to us at:

A note to our wholesale customers: we don’t accept drop ship returns for wholesale accounts. These items will need to be returned to your store and placed in your inventory.
3. Is there anything that can’t be returned?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept returns on apparel, sale items, or any item that doesn’t make it back to us in its original condition. If it’s damaged, missing parts, or lacking a return authorization number, we can’t take it back. If you believe you received a defective product, please email a photo of the item to email@example.com. We’ll always do our best to sort out your problem.
4. When can I expect a refund?
We’ll send you an email to let you know that we’ve received and inspected the returned items, and if all looks good, we’ll apply a credit to your credit card or a refund in your original payment method (minus the cost of the return shipping). Typically, refunds are delivered within 48 hours of the inspection.
5. What items don’t qualify for a refund?
Products marked as final sale, free gifts, or promotional items with retail value are not eligible for a refund.
