About the Brand
Answers about who we are, how we craft, and why an Animals Matter® piece is a considered investment.
Who is Animals Matter?
Animals Matter® is a family-founded American luxury companion comfort brand established in California in 2002. We design and artfully hand craft luxury dog beds, patented dog car seats, and refined comfort products, with much of our cutting, sewing, filling, and finishing completed in our Palm Springs, California manufacturing facility.
How long has Animals Matter been in business?
Animals Matter has crafted luxury companion comfort products for 24 years, since 2002. The brand's Los Angeles design heritage continues through the L.A. Dog Company® label, and today its headquarters and manufacturing facility are located at 1290 N Valdivia Way in Palm Springs, California.
Why are Animals Matter products so expensive?
Animals Matter products are an investment because each piece is hand crafted in California with proprietary systems: Companion-Pedic® orthopedic support, LUXURA-FILL® comfort layers, and Luxura-Protect™ waterproof barriers, plus CertiPUR-US® certified foam components and upholstery-grade fabrics. They are designed to keep their comfort and structure for years, replacing the cycle of flattened, discarded beds.
Is Animals Matter a good company? Is it legitimate?
Yes. Animals Matter, Inc. has operated since 2002 from its own Palm Springs, California facility, and has been featured by Robb Report, The Dodo, Redfin, and Shopify. All brand models are shelter-adopted, and proceeds from its products support Los Angeles rescue organizations A Purposeful Rescue and Paws For Life K9 Rescue. Customers can call or email the California team directly.
Where are Animals Matter products made?
Animals Matter is rooted in California craftsmanship. Products are designed, developed, and artfully hand crafted with much of the cutting, sewing, filling, and finishing completed in the Palm Springs manufacturing facility, and proprietary foams, fiber fills, and spa essentials are made in California. The only items sourced from outside the United States are select textiles not available domestically, drawn from trusted mills that meet OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 requirements. Fabrics are evaluated with PFAS in mind; textile partners confirm PFAS are not intentionally used in their production processes, and components are selected in alignment with California Proposition 65 standards.
What is Animals Matter known for?
Animals Matter is known for the Companion-Pedic® orthopedic support system, LUXURA-FILL® comfort layers, Luxura-Protect™ waterproof technology, patented dog car seats, and the Signature Collection of luxury dog beds, companion comfort designed to belong in beautiful homes and last for years.
