How to easily remove and replace inserts for washing your Puff™

Inserts and Foam are not washable. Please spray a solution of half white vinegar and half water on the soiled area and air dry.

Is the Pearl Companion Puff™ good for dogs who curl up?

Yes. The round silhouette and generously overstuffed bolster surround curlers in plush faux fur, creating the feeling of security nesting dogs seek — a design invented over twenty years ago that remains a hallmark of the Animals Matter® brand.

Does the Pearl Companion Puff™ have orthopedic memory foam?

No. This is the all-plush version, cushioned with LUXURA-FILL® hypoallergenic high-memory spring cushioning rather than a memory foam base. If your companion needs orthopedic support, the Pearl Puff™ Ortho adds a CertiPUR-US® certified Companion-Pedic® memory foam bottom to the same silhouette.

What size Pearl Companion Puff™ should I choose?

Sizes run X-Small (dogs and cats up to 10 lbs, 9" inner diameter) through X-Large (60 lbs and over, 20" inner diameter). The weights are estimates, so map the inner diameter on the floor around your companion and size up when in doubt.

Is the Pearl Companion Puff™ cover washable?

Yes, the cover removes for cold-water machine washing and line drying (no heat, bleach, or bleach alternatives). The inserts are not washable; spot clean them with a half white vinegar, half water solution and air dry.

Is the Pearl Companion Puff™ being discontinued?

Yes, this bed is retiring in its current form. While Animals Matter primarily sources textiles from mills that meet OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 requirements, the fabric on the top of this Puff is not currently certified, so the bed is being phased out as the brand transitions to fully certified fabrics. It remains available while stock lasts, and a restock of a sold-out size or color cannot be promised.

The bed is overstuffed with LUXURA-FILL® that can shift and compress while folded in the shipping box. Allow 2-3 inches on each side for the inner and outer dimensions until the bed and bolsters expand with use.

What colors does the Pearl Companion Puff™ come in?

Two colorways: Gray/Charcoal and Tan/Oyster. Both pair plush faux fur with a microsuede bottom.
