What makes the Ali Jewel® Crate Pad different from a memory foam crate pad?

It uses naturally breathable, pressure-relieving latex foam instead of memory foam. A 1-inch latex top is bonded to a 1-inch dense foam support base for a balance of cushioning and support.

Is the Ali Jewel® Crate Pad waterproof?

Yes. An ultra-thin, breathable Luxura-Protect™ hydrostatic waterproof liner sits beneath the padded velvet cover, helping keep the foam fresh from odors, slobber, stomach upset, and mild incontinence. For moderate to severe incontinence, we suggest the Raine Cozy Waterproof Blanket.

What size crate pad should I choose?

Match the pad to your crate's interior: Small is 18 x 24 inches, Medium is 22 x 30 inches, Large is 24 x 36 inches, and X-Large is 26 x 42 inches — each 2 inches thick. The 45 lb companion pictured on the product page uses the Large.

Is the Ali Jewel® Crate Pad good for senior dogs or dogs with arthritis?
