The L.A. Dog Company® Rider Turbo Car Seat is a structured luxury dog car seat designed for companions who ride best in a more contained, upright, and elevated travel space. Original, patented, and handcrafted in our Palm Springs manufacturing facility, it gives your companion a dedicated back-seat position with supportive comfort and unmistakable Animals Matter style.
With its straight-front profile, the Rider Turbo encourages a more upright seating position while still giving your companion room to sit, turn, curl, or lie down. The elevated base helps your dog enjoy a better view out the window, which may help ease restlessness or motion discomfort for companions who prefer to see where they are going.
Built with custom Companion-Pedic® foam made in Southern California and CertiPUR-US® Certified comfort, this dog car seat is designed to maintain its shape on errands, weekend getaways, and longer rides. The padded Micro Velvet cover is crafted from 100% pure micro denier polyester, giving it the richness and soft hand of a high-performance velvet while remaining practical for frequent travel.
Vehicle integration is engineered into the silhouette. A customized recessed groove allows the lap belt to wrap securely around the front, while the shoulder belt secures at the top back. The included attachment strap clips to your companion’s comfortable harness, helping them stay connected inside the seat while reducing roaming, lap riding, and driver distraction.
For two compatible companions riding together, add an additional Booster Dog Car Seat Attachment, sold separately. Each Rider Turbo Car Seat includes one attachment strap.
Choose Standard, 2X, or Limo in Black or Saddle to match your companion’s size and your vehicle setup. The cover unzips for cold-water machine washing and line drying, while the foam and inserts should not be machine washed. Use in the back seat with a comfortable harness only, and review the dog car seat installation instructions before travel.

Care Instructions
- Cover unzips for cold-water machine washing.
- Line dry only.
- Do not use heat, bleach, or bleach alternatives.
- Inserts and foam are not washable.
- For soiled foam or inserts, spray a solution of half white vinegar and half water on the soiled area and air dry.
Important Safety and Installation Notes
- Recommended for back-seat use only.
- Always use with a comfortable harness only.
- The attachment strap should never be clipped to a collar.
- The Limo does not install like the Standard and 2X sizes.
- The Limo installs on bench-back seats only.
- The shoulder strap goes through the loop in the center of the Limo car seat.
- The Limo may require a seat belt extender and will only fit in the back seat.
- Seat belt extenders are available at most local automotive stores.
